WOMEN WHO INSPIRE: ADRIANNE HASLET DAVIS
In times of unimaginable hardship and despair, we are forced to find an inner strength, to find a guiding light and to never give up on ourselves.
That’s why Adrianne Haslet-Davis and the Limbs for Life Foundation was the perfect collaboration for our newest strength bracelet. Adrianne survived the unimaginable Boston Marathon bombings in 2013 and lost her left leg below the knee. In the wake of the marathon, she has become an inspiration to others through her positive attitude and willingness to find strength in herself and not fall victim to her hardship.
The Limbs for Life Foundation is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to providing fully-functional prosthetic care for individuals who cannot otherwise afford it and raising awareness of the challenges facing amputees.
The core of My Mahana’s values is to give the wearer of our bracelets strength and stability through times of change and provide guidance and clarity in difficult situations.
“I love the message of being strong in life and setting the intention each day,” Adrianne says of the My Mahana collection. “Those wearing the bracelet can set their intention of what they will be strong for for the day, whether that is a business meeting, a difficult conversation or an obstacle they need to overcome.”
Adrianne completely embodies the My Mahana lifestyle, spreading positive intent and inspiring those around her to be strong even in times of pain.
"I refuse to be called a victim. I am not defined by what happened in my life. I am a survivor, defined by how I live my life.”
Adrianne’s strength shines through her special My Mahana bracelet, available for purchase with 30% of the proceeds going to the Limbs for Life foundation.
